Your next release.
Our kind of return.
Your Drupal projects and environments, in one place. Around here, progress means something you can ship.
Blue Drop Cloud is the platform to liberate you from
Acquia and Pantheon.
Your next chapter doesn’t need their logo on it. We’re building a fresh home for your sites, environments, and team.
A different set of priorities
We’d rather talk about your next release than somebody else’s exit strategy. We’re building Blue Drop Cloud around your sites, your workflow, and your say.
Your Drupal projects and environments, in one place. Around here, progress means something you can ship.
Development, staging, production. A workflow designed around shipping your next idea. Hold the corporate choreography.
Bring your wish list to the closed beta. Help shape the platform you’ll actually use, with your work at the center.
Deploy without the doctrine
Pantheon calls it WebOps. We call it a hosting platform with control issues. Your team already knows how to work. Pantheon would prefer you do it their way.
Blue Drop Cloud lets your team lead. Three independent environments, and the freedom to deploy your way. No mandatory promotion conga line.
Pantheon’s documented workflowDrupal performance. Human pricing.
Fast Drupal shouldn’t require a hosting bill that needs its own committee.
Our goal is Acquia-level performance, without the enterprise price tag. Built, fine-tuned, and managed by people who know Drupal. The expertise is part of the deal.
Find your planA platform fine-tuned for the CMS you use. Drupal is the brief, not a checkbox on a hosting brochure.
Managed by a team that knows Drupal and the platform it runs on. Your CMS needs no introduction.
Unlimited visitors and page views on every plan. Keep some budget for the website itself. Radical, we know.
Plans with an independent streak
Pick the resources your Drupal needs. Every plan includes unlimited visitors and page views, from Small to Custom. We don’t penalize you for growing your audience. We’ll leave the success tax to the other guys.

Request beta accessTheir $55/month Basic plan gets a 256 MB PHP memory limit and skips Object Cache and Pantheon Search. Want those for a production site? Welcome to Performance Small. Suddenly, “Basic” feels like the cover charge.
Their Cloud Platform pricing page lists the tiers. The dollar amounts are apparently on a need-to-know basis. And first, sales needs to know you. Your budget gets a discovery call before you get a number.
1. Pantheon’s USD list prices, billed monthly. Annual billing is less: Basic is $500/year; Performance Small is $1,925/year (about $160.42/month). Basic supports production, with the limits noted above. Sources: pricing ↗, resources ↗, and add-ons ↗.
2. Acquia’s Cloud Platform tier page ↗ lists no dollar amounts. Its separate self-service page ↗ publishes prices; Enterprise pricing requires a quote. This comparison concerns the tier page.

Currently with Acquia or Pantheon? You’re exactly who we’d like to meet. Join the closed beta and help shape your next Drupal home.
No breakup required to say hello.
A little blue. A little rebellion.
A few details. A fresh start for your Drupal.
Here’s to seeing other platforms. We’ll be in touch as beta access opens.
Keep exploringBefore you make a move
Your next Drupal chapter. We’re building Blue Drop Cloud to liberate teams from Acquia and Pantheon, with projects, environments, and everyday site operations in one workspace. It’s early days, and the closed beta is your chance to help steer.
Drupal developers, agencies, and in-house teams ready to explore their options. If you’re with Acquia or Pantheon and wondering what else is out there, pull up a chair. You don’t need to be planning a move to join the conversation.
We’ll get in touch as beta access opens, learn about your sites, and see if we’re a good fit. It starts with a conversation. You’re not signing up for a purchase, a migration, or matching tattoos.
That’s the idea. Existing Drupal sites are part of what we’re designing for. Share your website when you request access and we’ll talk through your setup, beta suitability, and what a move would involve. No dramatic exit required.
Small is $25/month, Medium is $50, Large is $100, and Extra Large is $200. Custom enterprise plans are scoped with your team. All plans include unlimited visitors and page views. We’re preparing the closed beta; a public launch date hasn’t been announced.
We’re independently owned and keep our overhead lean. No fancy office in Boston, Massachusetts, no oversized C-suite, and no private equity firm handing us revenue targets. That lets us focus on Drupal, the platform, and the people running it while keeping prices affordable. Your hosting bill doesn’t need to pay for a boardroom with a view.
We’re working toward SOC 2 Type II attestation and will offer a HIPAA-compliant environment. We’re also exploring FedRAMP options to give federal agencies an alternative to Acquia. Even government websites deserve to see other platforms. We’ll share milestones and availability as they’re confirmed.
